Expertise

Ginita Wall, CPA, CFP®, CDFA is nationally known but locally focused.

Her professional practice focuses on people experiencing divorce, widowhood and other transitions.

Divorce

As a collaboratively trained financial specialist, she works with people going through divorce to help them reach the best outcome possible.

Before Divorce

She often meets with individuals before they begin their divorce, helping them understand what they might expect if they go through divorce how best to prepare, and what method of divorcing would be best for them (mediation, collaborative, do-it-yourself, or attorney-represented.)

During Divorce

For people in the process, Ginita uses her experience as a CPA to help them make important financial decisions about the house, retirement accounts, business and investment assets and debts. She also works as a forensic accountant to aid their attorneys in analyzing the financial issues, and is often appointed as a joint expert to aid both sides in complex financial analysis.

After Divorce

Ginita helps people understand their financial settlements, set new financial goals, and plan for their new life as a single person.

Widowhood

When a spouse dies, everything changes. Ginita works with people whose partners are ill, to help them transition into the role of primary financial responsibility in the family. After a death, she works with the surviving spouse to help them make important decisions about titling assets, redrafting estate plans, and planning for the rest of their life.

Other Transitions

Throughout their lives people are in transition: sending children off to college, changing careers, selling and buying businesses, scaling down living quarters, and the biggest one of all, retiring. Ginita helps people plan for these life events, taking into account present and future taxes, and make the financial transitions necessary to move through the transition with ease.

As a financial consultant who bills on an hourly basis, she doesn’t manage money and sells no financial products. That way, she can explore all possibilities with the client, and focus completely on what is in the client’s best interest.
