TAKING THE MYSTERY OUT OF MONEY"At the age of 12, I was keeping books and writing checks"-- Ginita Wall
The author of several books, including The Way To Save, The Way To Invest, Our Money Our Selves, and Your Next Fifty Years, Ginita has always believed that money should never be overwhelming. Part of that comfort level with finances is rooted in her youth, when she helped with the bookkeeping in the family dairy business. Yet, unlike herself, Ginita discovered that most women dont approach financial matters the same way. In 1988, Ginita started the Womens Institute for Financial Education (WIFE) with stockbroker Candace Bahr. Numbering 400 members, WIFE conducts seminars on a wide range of topics which help to de-mystify financial matters. It is her keen insight into this money area that has made Ginita Wall a much sought after expert. A frequent lecturer for professional organizations, including the American Institute of CPAs and the College of Financial Planners, she has also made appearances on CBS This Morning America and the Discovery Channel, as well as being included in numerous print articles covering money management. Ms. Wall understands the special problems facing women who, like herself, had gone through a divorce and has made divorce issues an especially important element of her practice. She also originated the Second Saturday workshop on divorce presented at Mira Costa College in San Diego, as well as other locations across the country. "Most women are left alone at the end of the marriage-- financially, emotionally, and legally," she says. Ginita Wall practices in San Diego,
California. Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP® and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(TM), which it awards to individuals who successfully complete initial and ongoing certification requirements. |
